Dr. Seth Eidemiller

Emergency Medicine Physician (Healthcare)

Dr. Seth A. Eidemiller is a board-certified emergency physician whose journey began on a fourth-generation dairy farm in Idaho. Dr. Seth Eidemiller grew up with the values of hard work and responsibility, learning firsthand the importance of perseverance through daily farm routines. Before he chose a career in medicine, he worked in wildfire suppression and construction, which taught him the importance of teamwork, adaptability, and handling unpredictable challenges. He later earned bachelor’s degrees in International Studies and Spanish, broadening his outlook and enabling him to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. He continued to medical school at the University of Nevada, Reno, and then completed his emergency medicine residency in Fresno. He now serves as Vice Chair of the Chico Emergency Medicine Physician Group.

At the University of Idaho, he completed both his undergraduate degrees. He returned to Boise to finish prerequisites for medical school while working as a lab instructor and manager. He also spent three years conducting biomedical research, with a focus on systems biology and human health. These experiences provided him with a solid foundation in science and prepared him for the clinical challenges that lay ahead.

Before starting medical school, he spent time as a wildland firefighter for a federal agency, gaining experience in harsh, unpredictable conditions. Construction work helped him develop practical skills in carpentry, electrical work, and home repairs. His experience working in restaurants enhanced his ability to manage multiple priorities and remain organized under pressure.

Dr. Seth began medical school in 2012. His clinical rotations included pediatrics, internal medicine, psychiatry, surgery, and general medicine. During his emergency medicine residency at a large hospital in Fresno, he trained in airway management, resuscitation, procedural sedation, and bedside ultrasound. He managed both critical emergencies and ongoing health issues, prioritizing clear and calm communication to ensure a smooth process.

After residency, he worked in emergency departments in Merced and Chico, joining his current group in 2020. In 2024, he became Vice Chair, assuming administrative responsibilities while remaining actively involved in patient care. He continues to build his clinical experience through extra shifts in Fresno.

Dr. Seth Eidemiller holds board certification and a California medical license and remains committed to serving patients, supporting colleagues, and pursuing ongoing learning. Dr. Eidemiller’s work reflects dedication, humility, and a practical approach.
